This 1.5 hour workshop will explore the sensory motor system and its role in recovery for runners who often experience chronic muscular tension from overuse or as a result of injury.
You will learn specific release techniques called Pandiculations that you can do yourself to address tight calf muscles, hamstrings,hips, lower back, neck and shoulders.
They are not exercises in the traditional way a “therapist” may prescribe and they do not require any special piece of equipment other than your own very specialized brain which we know is the only reason your muscles contract via the sensory motor system. Make lasting changes to how you recover, reset and look after your body for a life of pain free running.
This workshop is on a sliding scale of what you can afford. We want it to be as accessible to all as possible so we ask for a payment between £5.00 and £15.00 that you can comfortable afford.
This workshop operates a no refund policy. In the event of cancellation, a credit will be applied to use towards online Pilates or Somatics group classes.
